Ea Hvarre is inspired by the people outside of society; the people who don't fit in, the imperfect, the ones no-one else wants to play with are the ones with the most interesting stories to tell.

Her creations find inspiration in the feelings that touches her - whether it is anger, happiness or sorrow, she wants to channel the same feelings and stories to others through her work and creations.

The Danish hair stylist who is 40 years old have more than 25 years experience in the theater/movie industry, and is third generation in a family of hairdressers.

Since completing her training as a hair stylist in 2001 she worked at the Royal Danish Teatre, and volunteered at the Danish Red Cross cutting hair for drug addicts and the homeless until she opened her own salon at Vesterbro, Copenhagen in 2007. She now lives i Horsens, Jytland DK

Shes also the first and only european winner of an American hair wars award!

Besides being the owner of MEDLYD, shes also competent expert in hair/beauty at the Competition and Consumer Authority.

Ea Hvarre doesn't see herself as a hair stylist but more as a hair artist.. fashion stylists follow what they are dictated through the media!
